Education Levels

Education Levels

As part of the survey, participating direct service organizations were asked to indicate at which grade level(s) they typically provide students with college access and success support. Not surprisingly, the programs largely target students at the high school and college/post-secondary education levels. It is worth noting though, that some programs are providing college access and success services to middle and elementary school students. A full 20% of respondents are providing college access programming to middle school students.*

Each of the maps displayed here highlight the neighborhoods/communities served by community-based programs that typically serve students at the following education levels: elementary school, middle school, high school, and college/post-secondary school. In each map, the varying degrees of color demonstrate the number of these programs serving that particular neighborhood/community.

* These statistics are based on the 191 programs that serve individuals directly and responded to the survey as of 06/30/2016
